After a defensive mix-up in Calmucó's zone, Nicolas Bras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Bernat came out of the goal and Nicolas Bras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calmucó's Melchor Calisto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Honorato Bernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Sesuldo in the 31st minute of play. If Sebastian Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Omero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Bernat was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After having played for 91 minutes, Sebastian Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
