After 2 played minutes LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Idacio. Esteban Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Quintan having to interfere. Diego Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leon Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Urti in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Quintan saved LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA from getting behind. Ladislao Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Chale in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ayacucho Futbol Club's Americo Firmo got a free kick in the 28th minute. After recieving a nice pass, LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA's Freddy Gonsalvo tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA booed when Ayacucho Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Ostargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA's Freddy Gonsalvo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Freddy Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Ayacucho Futbol Club's goalkeeper Leon Iyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Oihan. Leon Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Urti to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ariel Oihan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Diego Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Iyan having to interfere. Diego Brion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Iyan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Oscar Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Diego Brion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Iyan was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Ariel Oihan came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Oihan couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Ayacucho Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Firmo to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Eugenio Idacio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA and the Ayacucho Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugenio Idacio hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ayacucho Futbol Club's Bernardo Perutxo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ladislao Quintan but with some difficulty. 93 minutes into the match, Esteban Urti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ladislao Quintan. LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Urti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. LA LEPRA FLORIDEÑA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ayacucho Futbol Club for a fine match.
