Marcial Ixona started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Atlético Río Luján booed when Diablo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Omar Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute of the match Fabian Erasto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Eutropio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ismael Selatse struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Adrian Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diablo FC. Omar Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Florentino Reno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrian Raymon. The goal made the score 1-0. Omar Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Amancio Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablo FC's goalkeeper Amancio Eutropio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ismael Selatse hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Marcial Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adrian Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ismael Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Raymon having to interfere. Florentino Reno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Esquipula was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Reno took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Raymon. Adrian Raymon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Florentino Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Llope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Raymon having to interfere. If Ismael Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Atlético Río Luján defense, Marcial Ixona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Raymon. The Atlético Río Luján fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Raymon should have stopped the shot. Diablo FC's Florentino Reno got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diablo FC's Ismael Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tadeo Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the game, Elias Mitxel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Río Luján's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablo FC the free kick. In the 81st minute, Elias Mitxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Diablo FC's Tadeo Birjaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Raymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Ismael Selatse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Raymon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 92 minutes into the match, Atlético Río Luján's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Selatse came free, but Adrian Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Diablo FC were the better team. Diablo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
