Spectators: 7219 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 130) Colón's Daniel Bartoleme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Eulalio Nel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Achiras getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mario Goizeder hit a great ball. Silvestre Isaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Lluis got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Flavio Quirze. After 26 minutes of play, Colón's Cleto Birjaio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Isaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Froilan Sugar struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Silvestre Isaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón. Colón's Enrique Jenaro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvestre Isaio but with some difficulty. Silvestre Isaio made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Edgard Hanot sent off a good shot on target. Cleto Gartzi came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Achiras's Flavio Quirze. But to his dismay, Flavio Quirze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Flavio Quirze notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Colón's Cleto Gartzi. Cleto Gartzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cleto Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Quirze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Edgard Hanot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Silvestre Isaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Bartoleme, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Achiras's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Sugar came free, but Silvestre Isaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Isaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Hanot, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 68 played minutes, Colón's Pablo Cristos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvestre Isaio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colón reached it. Silvestre Isaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cleto Birjaio went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 72ndth minute of the game Daniel Bartoleme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Achiras's Silvestre Isaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaggelis Anagnostou during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Colón's zone, Julian Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Gartzi came out of the goal and Julian Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achiras's Bartolo Faron was substituted for Mario Goizeder.
