The supporters of Juana Deportes booed when Sportivo Santa Clara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Piarres hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Vellito in the 35th minute of play forced Juana Deportes's goalkeeper Hector Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílton Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Nardo having to interfere. A collision led to Juana Deportes getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Arnoldo Quirze hit a great ball. Juana Deportes's Hector Ulizes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Juana Deportes from getting a goal against them. Isaac Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Nardo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Juana Deportes's zone, Daniel Montel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Ulizes came out of the goal and Daniel Montel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juana Deportes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roman Iratzeder 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Isaac Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Juana Deportes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sportivo Santa Clara's performance. The match ended with a win for Sportivo Santa Clara.
