In the 11th minute Nemesio Vellito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C Milan's Silvestre Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Iratzeder in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, A.C Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Loreto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in A.C Milan's zone, Nemesio Vellito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Roderigo came out of the goal and Nemesio Vellito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Nemesio Vellito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Vellito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Silvestre Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serafin Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Nemesio Vellito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, A.C Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Iratzeder came free, but Silvestre Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Edorta in the 45th minute of play forced A.C Milan's goalkeeper Silvestre Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Freddy Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Santa Clara the free kick. Freddy Oliverio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albano Nerio to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Serafin Edorta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Santa Clara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C Milan the free kick. In the 66th minute, Nemesio Vellito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvestre Roderigo. The goal made the score 0-1. Nemesio Vellito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nemesio Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Santa Clara's Serafin Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Roderigo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nemesio Vellito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. Nemesio Vellito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Silvestre Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Edorta in the 87th minute of the match. Nemesio Vellito did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Silvestre Roderigo 91 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo Santa Clara's Nemesio Vellito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvestre Roderigo. That made the score 0-4 after 95 minutes of play. Sportivo Santa Clara played a much better game than A.C Milan and deserved their victory. The A.C Milan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
