An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Mel in the 25th minute of play forced Quimilí FC's goalkeeper Marcial Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Bikendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Iratxo in the 36th minute of play. Elvio Resto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urbano Manuelo to make the kick off. Angelino Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcial Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Jorrin in the 54th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Urbano Manuelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing de Cba's Albano Urki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Elvio Resto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing de Cba's Humberto Frichoso quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Humberto Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelino Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Urbano Manuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Urki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The Quimilí FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
