Hernan Pio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Dunixi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Arturo Beti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Inocente's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, papiylau fc's goalkeeper Arturo Beti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Damario. Sergio Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Beti having to interfere. Orlando Damario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Arturo Beti made a huge save. A collision led to papiylau fc getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Norberto Mercurio hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Sergio Hunfredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arturo Beti. Sergio Hunfredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Baltasar Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Tino in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Sergio Hunfredo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of papiylau fc's Arturo Beti. Arturo Beti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiburcio Tino scored 3-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Dunixi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sergio Hunfredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Hunfredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Omar Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Tino to make the kick off. Arturo Beti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Gurutz went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Inocente in the 88th minute of play forced papiylau fc's goalkeeper Arturo Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Gurutz took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Beti. Arturo Beti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. Vilgo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
