Timoteo Criston came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Bracama FC's Vinicio Millrick. But to his dismay, Vinicio Millrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guy Fosse to make the kick off. Carlton Tinsley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino dos Santos in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Severino dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Español's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bracama FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Delmiro Tximitx hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Guy Fosse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Deportivo Español. Guy Fosse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Criston having to make a save. Club Deportivo Español's Ulises Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Club Deportivo Español manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Bracama FC to win.
