Spectators: 6626 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1626, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Modesto Stanislao took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Israel Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Modesto Stanislao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Amaya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cucullú AFC's Roman Torres got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Israel Garci came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cucullú AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Garci couldn't finish the play. After 21 minutes, Moises Milian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cucullú AFC and the Rivadavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26thth minute of the game Gualterio Matei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cucullú AFC's Joel Amaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Feliberto Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Aimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Rivadavia's Feliberto Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Amaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Joel Amaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Stanislao, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Feliberto Aimar scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Amaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the game, David Kauldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cucullú AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivadavia the free kick. After 46 played minutes Cucullú AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Kauldi.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Garci made a kick off. Gualterio Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rivadavia's Modesto Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Stanislao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Joel Amaya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Cucullú AFC booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Saturnino Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Amaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Stanislao's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Saturnino Perutxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Garci in the 77th minute of play. Rivadavia's Saturnino Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Garci in the 85th minute of play. Joel Amaya was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabricio Nalo. Rivadavia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
