Fabian Arano had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Uriel Claude's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Carolo Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Inspector de Billeteras's Carolo Formerio got control of the ball when Ceferino Quirce tried to sneak it across the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Quirce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute Ceferino Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Formerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Bras went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Patricios players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
