Artemio Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rene Remigio made the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teobaldo Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearóid Beckett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Caitano in the 56th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Intoxicados's Gearóid Beckett threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cayetano Mergildo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gearóid Beckett was a little too slow when Teobaldo Lluterio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 64th minute, Conrado Caitano made a precise shot to the right of Gearóid Beckett. Deportivito cipolito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 67 minutes into the match, Deportivito cipolito's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Caitano came free, but Gearóid Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Intoxicados's corner Nicanor Maore fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gearóid Beckett quite easily take care of the ball. If Abelardo James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Hechter charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Hechter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Deportivito cipolito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Hechter to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Lluterio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gearóid Beckett was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Intoxicados's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
