After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hipolito Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSyD PERROQUE's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Cordara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Montrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Astor Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CSyD PERROQUE's Lenílson Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Lop in the 21st minute of play. Astor Montrel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by CSyD PERROQUE's Manuel Cordarrell. But to his dismay, Manuel Cordarrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Felipe Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the CSyD PERROQUE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. If Hipolito Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CSyD PERROQUE's Hipolito Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Arnulfo Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lenílson Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Bittor charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Bittor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpe Diem's goalkeeper Astor Montrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 played minutes CSyD PERROQUE got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Cordara. Erubiel Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Bueno having to interfere. After the first half CSyD PERROQUE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nemesio Lop made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CSyD PERROQUE's Marcos Flores got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute, Hipolito Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hipolito Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Hipolito Cordara could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Astor Montrel however easily saved by the left post. In the 66th minute of the match, Hipolito Cordara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Astor Montrel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 67 played minutes CSyD PERROQUE got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Isaio. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Lop's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenílson Bueno was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Hipolito Cordara in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Astor Montrel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manuel Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Astor Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 84 in the game by Hipolito Cordara from a close distance when the talented Astor Montrel managed to make a qualified save. Carpe Diem's players were relieved. Carpe Diem's Astor Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Isaio in the 87th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded CSyD PERROQUE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carpe Diem.
