Spectators: 7147 (Terracing: 5361, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nemesio Lop got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Nemesio Lop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Abelardo Ignado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nemesio Lop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DESAMPARADOS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marcial Vito hit a great ball. The supporters of DESAMPARADOS booed when Carpe Diem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Santos Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot. DESAMPARADOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Montrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Aguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Nemesio Lop fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 23 minutes in the game, Erubiel Naelio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Abelardo Ignado having to interfere. Carpe Diem's Astor Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Vito in the 27th minute of play. DESAMPARADOS's Marcial Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Ignado came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carpe Diem's Nemesio Lop. But to his dismay, Nemesio Lop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Abelardo Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Socorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nemesio Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Lop who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Ignado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Daunte made a kick off. Albano Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute of the game Santo Pepillo made a throw-in which Delmiro Giraldo played forward. In the 57th minute, Marcial Vito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carpe Diem's Astor Montrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Carpe Diem from getting a goal against them. Abelardo Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erubiel Naelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Ignado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Naelio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Daunte in the 75th minute of play forced Carpe Diem's goalkeeper Astor Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Lop's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Ignado was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Santos Daunte came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the DESAMPARADOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Daunte couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes DESAMPARADOS got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Ieltxu. Nemesio Lop blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Ignado having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nemesio Lop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpe Diem's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Lop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Carpe Diem fully deserved thier win.
