After a rather tough play, Manantial's Celedonio Ederono got a free kick in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Arauco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Abancens came free, but German Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Sotero got free with Alejo Ezkerra in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Manantial's Celedonio Ederono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. German Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Javier Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Silvestre Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manantial's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Satordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Ederono in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Manantial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Abancens to maneuver through the defense. If Javier Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, David Feliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arauco FC and the Manantial players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Arauco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Feliz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Romulo Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. One of Arauco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manantial:s goal. German Satordi went to the wrong direction when Artemio Roldan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Artemio Roldan sped through Arauco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of German Satordi. Tiburcio Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alejo Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Manantial booed when Arauco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Artemio Roldan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Satordi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Abancens to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Arauco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Gamus came free, but German Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Tiburcio Normando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Ezkerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Nicanor Gamus kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Alejo Ezkerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Tiburcio Normando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arauco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. The audience was convinced that Tiburcio Normando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejo Ezkerra was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Manantial's Alejo Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Ciano in the 83rd minute of play. Tiburcio Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Normando in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Ezkerra saved Manantial from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Gamus got free with German Satordi in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Ezkerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Arauco FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
