Spectators: 6994 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiburcio Normando started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Arauco FC's Tiburcio Normando got a free kick in the 2nd minute. German Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Xacintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Tiburcio Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arauco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Normando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Javier Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Claris having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Normando in the 13th minute of play forced Molinos's goalkeeper Patricio Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Javier Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arauco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Sotero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Javier Sotero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Claris. Molinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Javier Sotero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Arauco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Molinos's Santiago Intxixu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Patricio Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Ciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Normando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Claris. Molinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Normando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Tiburcio Normando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Maldonado during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arauco FC made a substitution. Marciano Ekhi replaced Jaime Iratxo. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Xacintu was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Marciano Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes, Luis Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arauco FC and the Molinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Mincho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Normando in the 62nd minute of play forced Molinos's goalkeeper Patricio Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Satordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Maldonado in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Molinos's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Sotero came free, but Patricio Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Arauco FC's Luciano Lluques seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luciano Lluques the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arauco FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luciano Lluques had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luciano Lluques kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Arauco FC's German Satordi got control of the ball when Santiago Intxixu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Normando in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Claris saved Molinos from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Pablo Ciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Claris was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Normando in the 83rd minute of play forced Molinos's goalkeeper Patricio Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Tiburcio Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arauco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Tiburcio Normando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arauco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Arauco FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
