After a defensive mix-up in Azul y Oro's zone, Vaino Artla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Rozarius came out of the goal and Vaino Artla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lennart Kasendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arnoldo Rozarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaino Artla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Rozarius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Segundo Guillelme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoldo Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaino Artla in the 12th minute of play. Jairo Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Betadur in the 30th minute of play. Jairo Quintan had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Niceto Gonsalve from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Blas Olentzaro lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Blas Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Basilio Betadur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Quintan skillfully saved the ball. Potrero FC's Jairo Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Betadur in the 47th minute of play. Arnoldo Rozarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaino Artla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Orlondo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Ricardo Orlondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jairo Quintan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Potrero FC's Jairo Quintan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Betadur in the 57th minute of play. Jairo Quintan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Betadur, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Betadur in the 59th minute of play forced Potrero FC's goalkeeper Jairo Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Quintan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Orlondo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the game, Cesar Ado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azul y Oro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrero FC the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Azul y Oro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Ado to maneuver through the defense. Vaino Artla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Basilio Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azul y Oro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lennart Kasendi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Arnoldo Rozarius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrero FC. In the 96th play minute Vaino Artla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnoldo Rozarius. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Azul y Oro had won after a very even match.
