Silvio Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Los Bohemios's goalkeeper Silvio Celipe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Gustau. Silvio Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Erramu in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ladislao Lartaun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Lartaun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Celipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thunders's Fidel Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Montrelle in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Los Bohemios got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Seguinus. In the 48th match minute, Los Bohemios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Silviano to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Palos was the one to do the kick off.
