Anselmo Sasoin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. PUERCOS FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Azulcuesta FC's zone, Teodoro Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Lordi came out of the goal and Teodoro Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes in the game, Anselmo Sasoin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amador Lordi having to interfere. With a little luck, Azulcuesta FC's Amador Lordi got control of the ball when Teodoro Godoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Teodoro Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Anselmo Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Azulcuesta FC's Teodosio Abeita got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Bruno Noe came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Azulcuesta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Noe couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Noe was the one to do the kick off. PUERCOS FC's Anselmo Sasoin got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bruno Noe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azulcuesta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Noe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Noe in the 68th minute of play forced PUERCOS FC's goalkeeper Humberto Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Sasoin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amador Lordi having to make a save. Chants of Azulcuesta FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as PUERCOS FC had held the ball for most of the match.
