In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Salsacate's goalkeeper Higinio Guerau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Congreso's Pastor Mel was substituted for Jo Fernandez. Pastor Mel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Guerau came out and tried to block the shot, but Pastor Mel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 89th minute.
