After 22 played minutes Atlético Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Denis Abadia. The long shot by Narciso Quintin in the 23rd minute really tested Victor Hernando's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lucio Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. diablo fc's Narciso Quintin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Melchor Lawrence in the 36 minute of the game. Venancio Bastian struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Victor Hernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for diablo fc. After having played for 40 minutes, 史沙荣 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Mar del Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but 史沙荣 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético Mar del Plata booed when diablo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Gilesindo in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Havier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Millan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Havier went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 76thth minute of the game Hugo Favila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Mar del Plata's Victor Hernando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Gilesindo in the 87th minute of play forced diablo fc's goalkeeper Silvestre Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Havier in the 92nd minute. Hugo Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Atlético Mar del Plata left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than diablo fc.
