Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Racing Club's Enzo Silviano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Alvarado's Bartolo Hanot got a free kick in the 6th minute. The supporters of Alvarado booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Salvator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Romulo Illart made a huge save. Ladislao Onofre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Frisco went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Marcos Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvarado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarado's zone, Enzo Silviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Onofre came out of the goal and Enzo Silviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Onofre having to interfere. If Enzo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Cruz made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Marcos Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Racing Club's Raul Reno got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 minutes of play, Alvarado's Aquiles Sanchez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Illart was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Ladislao Botello made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Illart. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 66th minute Enzo Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Reno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Ladislao Onofre made a huge save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Romulo Illart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Anier Matia. After 76 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Harriet. Efrain Laurgain struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Romulo Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvarado. Inocencio Frisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Club's Romulo Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Botello in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alvarado's Aquiles Sanchez got a free kick in the 89th minute. Raul Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Onofre having to interfere.
