Prudencio Celio came out of the goal and Aquiles Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Celio having to interfere. Prudencio Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Cruz in the 47th minute of play. The NUEVA CHICAGO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alvarado were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Nel to strike the kick off in the second half.
