Spectators: 6981 (Terracing: 5343, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hilario Bertol made the kick off which started today's match. Ángeles de Acero's Isidoro Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Bertol in the 5th minute of play. Baldomero Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Florian having to interfere. Hilario Bertol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Florian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Primitivo Matei hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Bertol during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Hilario Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Roano in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play Arrecifes's Primitivo Matei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arrecifes! After a defensive mix-up in Ángeles de Acero's zone, Mateo Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Florian came out of the goal and Mateo Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ángeles de Acero's goalkeeper Isidoro Florian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Godoy. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ángeles de Acero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Lugo was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. After 30 minutes, Nicanor Unai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ángeles de Acero and the Arrecifes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavino Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ángeles de Acero's goalkeeper Isidoro Florian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gavino Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrecifes's zone, Flavio Roano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Estebe came out of the goal and Flavio Roano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Arrecifes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ángeles de Acero were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Chuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gavino Estebe made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Flavio Roano sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute Baldomero Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Baldomero Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrecifes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Toli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Arrecifes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Godoy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Flavio Roano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baldomero Toli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Arrecifes's Gavino Estebe got control of the ball when Flavio Roano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliciano Chuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Gavino Estebe managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ángeles de Acero's Flavio Roano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arrecifes's Gavino Estebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Arrecifes from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Ángeles de Acero's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Toli came free, but Isidoro Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Roano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Gavino Estebe made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ángeles de Acero walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
