Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) Gowland AFC's Raimundo Iratze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Los Guerreros getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Betão de Sena hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Marcial Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Los Guerreros were awarded a corner. Genaro Barbosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Los Guerreros's Genaro Barbosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cosme Fagondo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcial Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Fagondo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Guerreros's Telis Zisimatos. But to his dismay, Telis Zisimatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marcial Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Fagondo having to interfere. Cosme Fagondo was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Marcial Bonifaco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcial Bonifaco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some careless play in the Los Guerreros defense, Blas Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Naike. The Los Guerreros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Naike should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Telis Zisimatos to strike the kick off in the second half. Humberto Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Arce in the 53rd minute of play. Marcial Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcial Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Porfirio got free with Humberto Naike in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Naike having to interfere. Los Guerreros's Silvano Lope was substituted for Adan Restu. In the 74th minute Gowland AFC were awarded a corner. Cipriano Ceresso went to the cornerflag to take it. Gowland AFC's Cipriano Ceresso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Humberto Naike in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 84 played minutes Gowland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Porfirio. After 85 minutes, Telis Zisimatos made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gowland AFC's Cosme Fagondo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes Los Guerreros got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Pick. In the 93rd minute Marcial Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Fagondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gowland AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
