In the 13th minute, Telis Zisimatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Adan Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Paez having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Gregory. 25 minutes into the game, Los Guerreros's Telis Zisimatos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Paez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão de Sena in the 29th minute of play forced Rafaela's goalkeeper Vicente Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Los Guerreros's Humberto Naike got control of the ball when Adan Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rafaela's zone, Marcial Bonifaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Paez came out of the goal and Marcial Bonifaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Los Guerreros fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Los Guerreros's Telis Zisimatos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th minute, Tobias Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Telis Zisimatos made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Paez. Rafaela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After the first half Los Guerreros were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vicente Paez made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Marcial Bonifaco sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Los Guerreros's Telis Zisimatos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Paez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafaela's Vicente Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Vicente Paez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Rafaela's Abelardo Hitz got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Bonifaco in the 93rd minute of play forced Rafaela's goalkeeper Vicente Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Silvano Lope made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Paez. Rafaela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. The Rafaela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Guerreros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
