The wind increased when Alonzo Florian made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Merced's zone, Erubiel Iliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Gaitano came out of the goal and Erubiel Iliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merced succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Acosta AFC had controlled the match.
