In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monteros's goalkeeper Nereo Lucado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Monteros's Carolo Ortzi got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Tirso in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Lucado saved Monteros from getting behind. When Pablo Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tapia fans jumped to their feet. Ignacio Grabiel's late challenge caught a Monteros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
