Victorino Panfilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Esquipula in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Jaunti saved Palmas FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Palmas FC's Adan Teyo got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Vincente got free with Miguel Jaunti in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorino Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Teyo in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Palmas FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Petri. Salvador Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Miguel Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Miguel Jaunti managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when tucuman's Salvador Vincente fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Miguel Jaunti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Vincente's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Paolo Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Palmas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Esquipula came free, but Miguel Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. tucuman's Paolo Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
