After a defensive mix-up in Ballesteros's zone, Aaron Mederi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Noe came out of the goal and Aaron Mederi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Urdin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Cafferata's goalkeeper Faustino Sein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Gerazan. Rigoberto Lobo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Noe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Lobo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd match minute, Ballesteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Noe having to interfere. In the 26th minute Benjamin Överman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a penalty for Ballesteros! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Mederi in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Noe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ballesteros getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Teodoro Matthew hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Överman to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustino Sein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Gerazan went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Aaron Mederi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cafferata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Narciso Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballesteros's protests and gave Narciso Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Ballesteros got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Gerazan. In the 71stth minute of the game Aaron Mederi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballesteros's Timoteo Noe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Noe having to interfere. Aaron Mederi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Timoteo Noe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ballesteros's Timoteo Noe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ballesteros from getting a goal against them. When Cafferata's Aaron Mederi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Faustino Sein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballesteros. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Narciso Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballesteros's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Sein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cafferata played a much better game than Ballesteros and deserved their victory. The Ballesteros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
