Hernan Soter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guadalupe FC. Fausto Berdaitz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes La Guadalupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Benitez. 23 minutes into the game, Saul Benvide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Guadalupe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cangallo the free kick. The supporters of Cangallo booed when La Guadalupe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Benvide didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to La Guadalupe FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Saul Benvide hit a great ball. Saul Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Delmar Salvator came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cangallo fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Salvator in the 41st minute of play forced La Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Júlio Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Berdaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saul Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Salvator in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Guadalupe FC's Júlio Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Salvator in the 61st minute of play. Hernan Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Kornatowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Carolo Cesario charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Cesario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Cangallo got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Cesario. Saul Benvide took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Soter. Cangallo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Fausto Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cangallo defense, Edelmiro Benitez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Soter. The Cangallo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Soter should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cangallo's zone, Fausto Berdaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Soter came out of the goal and Fausto Berdaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Guadalupe FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cangallo had controlled the match.
