Spectators: 7098 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 141) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Feliciano Huly made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Maximiliano Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Bastia walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Larpe in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Itzaina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Gotzon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Danilo Medina made a huge save. Leopoldo Larpe struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Eriberto Itzaina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virreyes FC. Eriberto Itzaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Feliciano Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rincón's Eriberto Itzaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Abella in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Guaberto Gaxan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Itzaina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Fausto Abella came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Virreyes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Abella couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Itzaina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Larpe's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Leopoldo Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eriberto Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Larpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Larpe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eriberto Itzaina. Leopoldo Larpe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Leopoldo Larpes short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Eriberto Itzaina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Virreyes FC's Leopoldo Larpe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 71st minute of the match Santiago Viator shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Itzaina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Leopoldo Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Itzaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Telmo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Fausto Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Virreyes FC booed when Rincón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Telmo's late challenge caught a Rincón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Telmo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rincón booed when Virreyes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Larpe in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Itzaina saved Rincón from getting behind. Virreyes FC's Danilo Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Huly in the 95th minute of play. Danilo Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Huly in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Virreyes FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rincón.
