But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Ferrer couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Minacar AFC's Alfonso Araoz got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Camilo Rexino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Eleazar was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Uriel Cordarryl hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Americo Sayvion was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minacar AFC's goalkeeper Elias Eleazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Eleazar having to interfere. If Camilo Rexino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Atauri's late challenge caught a Minacar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 38th minute Tomas Domenec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Minacar AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Victorino Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minacar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Muc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Domenec to make the kick off. The supporters of tiki fc booed when Minacar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Ferrer got free with Elias Eleazar in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jose Ferrer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Eleazar having to make a save. A wasted opportunity for tiki fc. 89 minutes into the match, Minacar AFC's goalkeeper Elias Eleazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Ferrer. tiki fc's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Minacar AFC had won, even though tiki fc had held more of the ball.
