Amapola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pokenico FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Amapola got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Savier. In the 19th minute Aquiles Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Amapola's Francisco Araoz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Pokenico FC's Karol Pietras got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Karol Pietras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Sotil. Amapola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Pietras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Aquiles Guillem fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pokenico FC's protests and gave Aquiles Guillem a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Pokenico FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Guillem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Pietras in the 32nd minute of play forced Amapola's goalkeeper Nicanor Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Pokenico FC's Karol Pietras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Sotil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Augusto Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Pietras's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. If Karol Pietras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When Pokenico FC's Karol Pietras in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amapola's goalie prevented a goal. Karol Pietras in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicanor Sotil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55thth minute of the game Karol Pietras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amapola's Nicanor Sotil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alejo Savier was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pokenico FC booed when Amapola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Karol Pietras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pokenico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Pietras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Karol Pietras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Endira kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Nicanor Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Pietras in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Sotero got free with Nicanor Sotil in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Pietras's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Justo Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amapola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Augusto Argina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicanor Sotil. The goal made the score 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Pietras got free with Nicanor Sotil in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Sotil came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Pokenico FC's Karol Pietras. But to his dismay, Karol Pietras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Amapola's Nicanor Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Pietras in the 91st minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Amapola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Inge to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Leonardo Sotero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pokenico FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
