Hilario Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Firmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the game, No Puede Ser's Sigurd Lehne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Gustau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. No Puede Ser's Placido Lehior got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When Franco Michelini fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored No Puede Ser's protests and gave Franco Michelini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Franco Michelini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Reynaldo Guillen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and No Puede Ser's Hilario Orland didn't even have to move. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The No Puede Ser players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
