Spectators: 6976 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. King Scocco started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Bravona's goalkeeper Gerasimos Proedropoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Ugaitz. Gerasimos Proedropoulos made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Arturo Ugaitz sent off a good shot on target. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bravona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiburcio Jerrald was slow to take the kick. During this time Burruyacú AFC's players had a chance to rest. When Tomás Guib fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bravona's protests and gave Tomás Guib a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, one of Bravona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bravona. The referee gave Burruyacú AFC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiburcio Jerrald, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bravona's Gerasimos Proedropoulos. 1-0. Elpidio Martxelin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Berriotxoa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, Aaron Berriotxoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Elpidio Martxelin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32ndth minute of the game King Scocco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burruyacú AFC's Elpidio Martxelin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bravona's Tomás Guib got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Tomás Guib off the ground. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Primo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerasimos Proedropoulos was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Elpidio Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Scocco, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerasimos Proedropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Burruyacú AFC's Arturo Ugaitz got a free kick in the 84th minute. Elpidio Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bravona's goalkeeper Gerasimos Proedropoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerasimos Proedropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Primo in the 91st minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Burruyacú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Bembe. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bravona walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
