After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dalmacio Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riveros's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Goi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sándor Tyuskay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nunez Goito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Tartalo having to make a save. Sándor Tyuskay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sándor Tyuskay came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Riveros's Martin Urtsua. But to his dismay, Martin Urtsua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Riveros getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Reynaldo Ibañez hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Nunez Goito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Tartalo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Sebastian Jangner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Marcial Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Sportif F.C.'s Filomeno Tartalo threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Jangner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Oinaz in the 27th minute of play forced Sportif F.C.'s goalkeeper Sándor Tyuskay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Sportif F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martin Urtsua came free, but Sándor Tyuskay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Bernard hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Martin Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Tyuskay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sándor Tyuskay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Oinaz in the 41st minute of the match. Sándor Tyuskay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Goi in the 44th minute of play. Filomeno Tartalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Llin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Braulio Llin came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Sportif F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Llin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Llin in the 59th minute of play forced Riveros's goalkeeper Filomeno Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 61 minutes on the clock, Marcial Hitzeder commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Riveros fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sportif F.C. a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Braulio Llin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Riveros's Filomeno Tartalo. 1-1. In the 66th minute Osvaldo Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Jangner in the 74th minute of play forced Riveros's goalkeeper Filomeno Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Braulio Llin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riveros's Filomeno Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Jangner in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Dolfos in the 79th minute of play forced Riveros's goalkeeper Filomeno Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sándor Tyuskay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Urtsua in the 87th minute of the match. Dalmacio Goi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Tyuskay having to interfere. Sebastian Jangner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Tartalo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sportif F.C.'s Constantino Gaur got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
