With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Gaizkine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Remigio Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Eladio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Hitz in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Remigio Horado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Gaizkine was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Armando Gorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Americo Eladio made a huge save. Remigio Horado ran back to his position shaking his head. If Amancio Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Eladio was a little too slow when Honorio Abaurre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Remigio Horado put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lisandro Gaizkine. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Abaurre to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Chabier, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Jesco got free with Lisandro Gaizkine in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Americo Eladio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Romelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Carreras FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Ponciano. Rolón FC's Norberto Sagrario got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Roman Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Rolón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Jesco couldn't finish the play. Roman Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Gaizkine having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Roman Jesco took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Lisandro Gaizkine to make any attempt to save it. Teofilo Romelio kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Rolón FC's Froilan Romildo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Carreras FC. Carreras FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Rolón FC had controlled the match.
