TORO LOCO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Kismi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Feliciano Atarrabi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but el boca de moreno's Bengt-Rune Sandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Natalio Orkatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, el boca de moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Atarrabi came free, but Bengt-Rune Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Atarrabi made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Natalio Orkatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. TORO LOCO's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Orkatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Sandberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliciano Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bengt-Rune Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
