Efrain Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wasapampa FC's zone, Leonel Martxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babbis Dimopoulos came out of the goal and Leonel Martxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ceferino Medina came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Wasapampa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Medina couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, one of Wasapampa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wasapampa FC. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pedo con Sorpresa's goalkeeper Delmiro Ubendu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Pedo con Sorpresa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Enrique Kepa hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Leonel Libertad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmiro Ubendu skillfully saved the ball. When Ceferino Medina came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Wasapampa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Medina couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the game, Adan Urtzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedo con Sorpresa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wasapampa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pedo con Sorpresa's Adan Urtzi got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Joel Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Efrain Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedo con Sorpresa's Delmiro Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Arias in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Martxel to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Ubendu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Medina in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Pedo con Sorpresa defense, Ceferino Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Ubendu. The Pedo con Sorpresa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Ubendu should have stopped the shot. Pedo con Sorpresa's Aaron Osasun got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Martxel in the 61st minute of play forced Wasapampa FC's goalkeeper Babbis Dimopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joel Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Pedo con Sorpresa got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Thomas. Ceferino Medina succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If Ceferino Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pedo con Sorpresa getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Blas Quintun hit a great ball. Wasapampa FC's Joel Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmiro Ubendu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ceferino Medina sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Babbis Dimopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, one of Wasapampa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wasapampa FC. The Wasapampa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wasapampa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
