Celedonio Bermudo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, INTER de Cordoba's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Calvino came free, but Andres Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Corderall having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Bogdan Chazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes of play, INTER de Cordoba's Kenneth Emerson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Corderall was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bilbao Futbol Club booed when INTER de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes INTER de Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Emerson. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Niceto Senon hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Bilbao Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Ioritz. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kenneth Emerson managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER de Cordoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenneth Emerson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Corderall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenneth Emerson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Corderall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of INTER de Cordoba booed when Bilbao Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Inocencio Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Emerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Corderall having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bilbao Futbol Club's zone, Kenneth Emerson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Corderall came out of the goal and Kenneth Emerson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Kenneth Emerson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER de Cordoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Salvador Froila's late challenge caught a INTER de Cordoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Froila helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Bilbao Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Froila. In the 94th minute, Kenneth Emerson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. INTER de Cordoba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
