With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Rumaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anibal Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Rumaldo having to interfere. The supporters of Intiyaco booed when Club Atlético Stravinsky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Club Atlético Stravinsky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Norino to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Stravinsky's Teodoro Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Fanuco in the 14th minute of play. Ciriaco Fanuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Teodoro Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Tiniebra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciriaco Fanuco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 36 played minutes Club Atlético Stravinsky got a freekick which was hit by Dante Gumaro. Club Atlético Stravinsky's Teodoro Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Fanuco in the 38th minute of play. Orlando Rumaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Stravinsky's zone, Oscar Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Tiniebra came out of the goal and Oscar Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Oscar Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Oscar Maura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Tiniebra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 98thth minute of the game Anibal Darien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intiyaco's Orlando Rumaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Intiyaco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
