After 22 played minutes, LOS GUERREROS ROJOS's Jonatan James shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodoro Tiniebra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LOS GUERREROS ROJOS reached it. A collision led to Club Atlético Stravinsky getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Angelino Jenaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Tiniebra having to interfere. Teodoro Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Ubelteso in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Darien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Stravinsky's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Urki in the 54th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Anibal Darien got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score.
