Angelino Jenaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half LOS GUERREROS ROJOS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Ubelteso was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Intiyaco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angelino Jenaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 55th minute, Ciriaco Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOS GUERREROS ROJOS's Nicanor Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Maura in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Jenaro in the 74th minute of play forced Intiyaco's goalkeeper Orlando Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match LOS GUERREROS ROJOS got a corner. Intiyaco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonatan James ran over to the corner to take the kick.
