The audience was convinced that Jimeno Bernad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Curcio was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Saul Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Aresti, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Pablo Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Dionisio Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Dionisio Honrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Pinamar. Simon Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Honrio having to interfere. Genaro Horis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Dionisio Honrio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute Jimeno Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Curcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Trejos FC's Constantino Mirande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Curcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

58 minutes into the match, Trejos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Hori came free, but Dionisio Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Genaro Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Pinamar's Genaro Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Bernad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Romulo Aresti made a precise shot to the right of Saul Curcio. Club Atletico Pinamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Dionisio Honrio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Pinamar's Genaro Hori. But to his dismay, Genaro Hori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
