Spectators: 7122 (Terracing: 5343, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 141) Club Cipolletti's Severo Karmel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Club Cipolletti defense, Candido Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Milian. The Club Cipolletti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Milian should have stopped the shot. Gualterio Colon made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Constantino Lastur sent off a good shot on target. Abasto F.C.'s Candido Dolcet got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Lastur got free with Gualterio Colon in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes, Modesto Pierres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Cipolletti and the Abasto F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Club Cipolletti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Pierres to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Abasto F.C. were awarded a corner. Leon Lucila went to the cornerflag to take it. Abasto F.C.'s Leon Lucila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aureliano Milian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. During the 37th minute of the match Modesto Pierres completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Modesto Pierres a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Abasto F.C. booed when Club Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Pierres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Aureliano Milian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abasto F.C.'s Gualterio Colon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Abasto F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Aquiles Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abasto F.C.'s Aquiles Formerio in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Cipolletti's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Abasto F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Formerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Candido Dolcet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abasto F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Haroldo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Milian was a little too slow when Candido Dolcet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-4. 83 minutes into the match, Abasto F.C.'s Candido Dolcet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Milian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The long shot by Bernabe Pedroso in the 93rd minute really tested Aureliano Milian's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Abasto F.C.'s Bernabe Pedroso got a free kick in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Lastur in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Colon prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
