Gérard Polin hit a great ball. When Constantino Lastur fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Cipolletti's protests and gave Constantino Lastur a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Club Cipolletti got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Lastur. In the 19th minute Serafin Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabir Khatiashvili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Milian having to interfere. Sabir Khatiashvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Constantino Lastur scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batu Perk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aureliano Milian came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanus2016bicampeon's Sabir Khatiashvili. But to his dismay, Sabir Khatiashvili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aureliano Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Erruki in the 42nd minute of play. When Modesto Pierres fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Modesto Pierres hit a great ball. Aureliano Milian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabir Khatiashvili's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantino Lastur got free with Batu Perk in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Rafal Bielejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lanus2016bicampeon booed when Club Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Aureliano Milian managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Lanus2016bicampeon's Sabir Khatiashvili fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabir Khatiashvili did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Aureliano Milian 67 minutes into the match. Aureliano Milian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabir Khatiashvili in the 71st minute. Sabir Khatiashvili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Aureliano Milian made a huge save. After 77 played minutes Lanus2016bicampeon got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Derwin. In the 80th minute, Constantino Lastur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabir Khatiashvili in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Milian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modesto Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Erruki in the 84th minute of play forced Club Cipolletti's goalkeeper Aureliano Milian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Milian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabir Khatiashvili in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Serafin Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
