Bernardo Kepa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristobal Valerio. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Sabir Khatiashvili made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Valerio. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bartolo Azeari helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Azeari hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors's Cristobal Valerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabir Khatiashvili in the 40th minute of play. Cristobal Valerio came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Lanus2016bicampeon's Sabir Khatiashvili. But to his dismay, Sabir Khatiashvili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 44thth minute of the game Sabir Khatiashvili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Cristobal Valerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celestino Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Batu Perk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gérard Polin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cristobal Valerio made a huge save. Cristobal Valerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Bielejewski in the 69th minute of play. If Celestino Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Erruki came free, but Cristobal Valerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Cristobal Valerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gérard Polin. Lanus2016bicampeon's Batu Perk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Orlo in the 78th minute of play. Cristobal Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Bielejewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batu Perk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Orlo in the 82nd minute of the match. 0-6 became the score in the 92nd minute when Sabir Khatiashvili elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cristobal Valerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Erruki in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Lanus2016bicampeon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boca Juniors.
