Independiente CA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tesla the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Independiente CA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Alonzo Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Ignacio Belasko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Ignacio Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Dario Bakar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Goito. Independiente CA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Bakar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Tesla's Ignacio Belasko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moises Goito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Ibañez in the 32nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Joel Otsoa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Otsoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Amaya in the 33rd minute. Moises Goito came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Tesla's Dario Bakar. But to his dismay, Dario Bakar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ladislao Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ignacio Belasko struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Moises Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tesla. Dario Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Moises Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Guillelme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Goito was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Guillelme was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Independiente CA's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Belasko came free, but Moises Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ignacio Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Amaya hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ignacio Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Guillelme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Moises Goito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moises Goito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Bakar in the 67th minute. Moises Goito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Guillelme's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Alonzo Guillelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Moises Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play Independiente CA's Filiberto Fernendo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 80 played minutes Independiente CA got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Fernendo. After 81 minutes, Ladislao Amaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente CA and the Tesla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladislao Amaya hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dario Bakar struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Moises Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tesla. In the 89th match minute, Independiente CA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Tello to maneuver through the defense. Moises Goito made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dario Bakar sent off a good shot on target. Dario Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tesla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
