Arturo Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Aresti having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ernest Roschevskiy put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristo Aresti. A collision led to Jaramillo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roque Rozarius hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jaramillo's Eloy Erasto got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Alfredo Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Benicio Karmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. David Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ernest Roschevskiy missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Cristo Aresti right hand side. Eloy Erasto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Arturo Gudesteo's late challenge caught a Jaramillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Gudesteo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Trenque Lauquen's Arturo Gudesteo got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Trenque Lauquen's Ernest Roschevskiy got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jaramillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Eriz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Trenque Lauquen's zone, Eloy Erasto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Cabral came out of the goal and Eloy Erasto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaramillo played a much better game than Trenque Lauquen and deserved their victory. The Trenque Lauquen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
